Miller USMC, Captain Adam E. age 29, beloved husband of Nicole (nee Ratschan), loving son of Joseph and Sandra (nee Schmeski), dearest brother of James and Melissa, dear uncle of Jacob, cherished grandson of Edward and Joyce Schmeski, fond nephew of John Schmeske, Wade (Dawn) Schmeski and Jimmy, Gene, Jerry, Tommy (Kathy), Jack, Denny (Joyce) and Mickey Miller, dear son-in-law of Josef and Linda (nee Masters) Ratschan, fond brother-in-law of Kristin (Henry) Reifsnyder. Visitation Wednesday, 4 to 9 p.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (Wheeler Dr./155th & Harlem), Orland Park. Funeral and burial services private. My name is Rick Mundo and I was Adam's basketball coach at OFHS his sophomore year. I was deeply saddened by the tragic news at his passing. He was a focused, talented and determined young man when I coached him and it was an honor to be involved in his life in some small way.
