Ysabel Lopez Obituary

Ysabel Pena Lopez Mason Born July 8, 1933 in Robstown, TX the son of Toribio and Guadalupe (Pena) Lopez, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2009 in Mason at age 75. A resident of the Lansing area most of his life, Ysabel enjoyed working on his cars. A loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend will be dearly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his wife, Enriqueta in February of 2009, a son, Juan Lopez in 2006 and his parents. Surviving are his children, Rosa Heredia, Ysabel Lopez Jr., Virginia Lopez, Lopez and Israel (Ashley) Lopez; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings, Santoe Villarreal, Estefana (Tony) Soto, Lucia Cuevas, Toribio (Dolores) Lopez Jr., Francis (Lupe) P. Lopez, Gabina Wilshire and Beatrice (Ray) Bunny; and numerous special nieces and nephews. Funeral Liturgy will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Palmer Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Holt Delhi Chapel, 5035 Holt Road with Rev. Fr. Fred Thelen of Cristo Rey Catholic Church officiating. Visitation begins Tuesday at 12:00 noon at the funeral home. The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of Visiting Nurses and Hospice Services.
