Bluffdale-Willis Sylvester Maitland, died January 2, 2013. Born May 26, 1922 in Los Angeles, California to Willis Sylvester and Gertrude Driscoll Maitland. Served in the US Navy Seabee's during WWII in the South Pacific. Married Rosalie Brown February 28, 1946 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Willis enjoyed his trips to Wendover and his friends at the Riverton Senior Center.
Survived by wife, two sons Douglas and Dennis (Marie)Maitland; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Friday at 2 PM at Utah Veterans Memorial Park 17111 So. Camp Williams Rd. Bluffdale, Utah.
