William Wieczorek Obituary

Wieczorek, William F. Age 87, of Calumet City, IL passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2018. He is survived by his children, Janet (Scott) Redding; William (Suzanne) Wieczorek; and Jim (Janis) Wieczorek; loving companion, Pat Jaroszewski; grandchildren, Katy Redding, Trevor Wieczorek, Alexis and Sophie Wieczorek; and an uncle to many nieces and nephews. William was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Mary Wieczorek; wife, Adele (nee Pieczynski) Wieczorek; and brothers, Anthony (Freda), Walter (Esther) and Joseph (Irene) Wieczorek. Funeral Services will begin with prayers at 9:15 a.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2018, at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave., Munster, IN with a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 768 Lincoln Ave., Calumet City, IL offered by Reverend Jacek Dada. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at the funeral home, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. William was a proud Air Force Veteran that served in the Korean War from 1951-1955 and was a jet mechanic for ten planes. He was a retired Millwright of U.S. Steel Southworks. William was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Church, Russell Square Post 1006 and Post 369 East Chicago, IN. www.kishfuneralhome.net
