William Scott Obituary

Scott, William Dean Age 76, of Mokena, formerly a resident of Tinley Park for 30 years, passed away on November 5, 2013. Beloved husband of 47 years to the late Margaret "Peggy" (nee Kassanitz) Scott; loving father of Dawn (James) Gonzalez of Frankfort, Cheri (Ron) Elvin of Oswego, Mary (Michael Stirn) Scott-Stirn of Frankfort and Cathy (Brian) Stoecker of Tinley Park; cherished grandfather of Dean Gonzalez, Danielle and Madison Labuda, Myles, Mytchel, Mykenzie, Mycauley, Myguire, Mykala, Myia and Myrreck Scott-Stirn and Leah, Kirsten and Jack Stoecker; fond brother of Sharolyn Heiy of Florida; kind uncle of Mike Heiy. William served in the United States Army and worked as a carpenter with Local Union #1 until his retirement in 1996. He devoted his retirement years to spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed aqua-aerobics at the Tinley Park-Park District. Visitation Thursday, November 7th from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service Friday, November 8th at 10:00 a.m. at Heartland Memorial Center, 7151 W. 183rd Street, Tinley Park.
