William Rogers Obituary

Rogers, William Thomas Age 75, of Joliet and former Chicago resident, passed away at Tuesday June 4, 2013 at his late residence. Beloved husband of Anna Marie (Waite); father of William Jr., Susan, Edward, Robert (Denise) and Terrance Rogers; grandfather of five; son of the late Agnes (nee Durkin) and Francis J. Rogers; brother of Geraldine (Scott) Strang; uncle of many. Bill was a retired police officer with the City of Joliet. He was formerly employed by IBM as a consultant for the City of Chicago. In addition, Bill was a U.S. Army reservist for 38 years. As it was Bill's wish, private services were held, followed by cremation rites. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name can be made to Joliet Area Community Hospice. For more information: (815) 741-5500 or www.fredcdames.com
