Reeves, William "Billy" U.S. Navy Veteran, late of Chicago. Beloved husband of Catherine (nee Johnson); beloved father of Gwendolyn (Yao Koudjonou) Reeves; loving brother of Marshall, Andrew, Mary, Ruthie, Verdean and Hazel; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. The family will receive family and friends on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:30 a.m. at the Thornridge Funeral Home (Janusz Family Funeral Service), 15801 S. Cottage Grove Avenue, four blocks North of 162nd St.(Rte. 6) Dolton/South Holland. Entombment Oak Woods Mausoleum. Memorials directed to the American Cancer Society appreciated. 708-841-2300.
