I was out of town and just heard of your father's passing from Mike Kelly today. I am sorry for your loss.

Our heartfelt sympathies to all of those touched by the extraordinary life of Bill Quinlan. He gave his best to everything he did, and will be remembered as a truly wonderful person. I was out of town when I received the news of his passing, and wish that I could have been there with so many to express my sympathy and celebrate a life so well lived.

Bill Quinlan was a tremendous influence on every lawyer who was privileged to appear before him. He was always prepared, knowledgable and brilliant. He also had that wonderful quality of empathy that great judges are blessed with. I will miss him. My deepest sympathies to his entire family.

I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Bill. He was very good to my family and I; and as family we shared some great times at family Christmas parties and other events. He introduced me to the world of politics, always making sure that I was surrounded by good and honest folks. He was one of the hardest workers I have ever met as were his circle of associates in politics and law. I was constantly amazed at the number of people who sought his advice and counsel. He had a dry humor and wit about him but was always the "Irish gentleman". The prayers of my family go out to the Quinlans and the Stantons..........God Bless you all!
