Bill Padula was a WW 2 Hero. In my opinion a Man among men. He stood out as a good person. I was told that his Courage in WW 2 was beyond belief. The last time I saw Bill was at the Sun-Times building, this had to be in 1967 or 1968? I grew up 956 N. Drake Ave. When I saw Bill again I was a young police officer working in the area of the Sun-Times. I am sorry for not giving Bill and his Family my sincere respect and heartfelt condolences at the time of his passing. God Bless you Bill, and God Bless all the Padulas.
