Hi Daddy, last sunday was Fathers Day that was hard. It's coming up on your 1 year anniversary I just can't believe it. We are all trying to make this be easy but I'm not feeling very good about it. I think this is going to be difficult for all of us. I'm still going for counseling every week and it has helped tremendously, i talk about you all the time just trying to understand this whole death situation, and why you had to be the one to go.. I really miss you and think about you every day. I also feel your presense alot of times, I know your still taking care of us in a Different way. Until we meet again YLG Dawn

Hi Daddy, well I'm still going for coundeling, and will be until Dave thinks I can handle this on my own, which he says isnt't for a long time. I'm having surgery feb. 21st, 3 herniated disks fused due to spinal stenosis.
Dr. Kornblatt says I have no other choice. I'm really scared (but) can't wait till it's over so maybe I'll be pain free in my neck, arm, and back. They say maybe no migraines either. I hope nothing happens but if it does I hope your waiting for me up there, just like they were waiting for you. I love you and MISS you more everyday, and it DOESN'T get easier. they are full of crap who say that. Until we meet again, YLG Dawn xoxo

Hi Daddy, well Thanksgiving, Mom's b-day my b-day and Crystal's b-day have passed and this was really hard, not to worry Mom went out with 7 ladies from falling waters and she had Turkey Dinner.. our b-day were exceptionally hard for us. I missed your voice wishing me a happy birthday and asking if I was 29 again. Counseling is going really great, sorry if I talk alot about you, but it makes it easier talking to Dave about things. I've learned alot and figured alot of things out. I love and miss you more each day, Not a day goes by that I don't cry, but I know your looking down on us. Love YLG Dawn Til we meet again....

I kept thinking about you today. Crystal traded in her car today, she cried cause she said it was from you, but you'd be proud of her... I miss you so much, I'm going for counseling now and it really is helping me.. I hope you understand. I love you more then you'll ever know. YLG

Hi Daddy, it's me again, the Avow house had a Brick Dedication Ceremony in honor of YOU today! I couldn't be there in presence but Crystal, Debbie, Maxumus, and Mom (yep you heard me even your little boy was there)... The Brick is BEAUTIFUL! Mom Debbie and I wrote out what we wanted it to say and it's from Our Hearts.. I Love You and Miss you like you can't imagine...Until We meet again...YLG

Hi Daddy, I've been thinking alot about you and I will be doing something and then I get that smell of you and then I stop and think am I doing something he is telling me not to do or slow down or something... don't worry I know your around and I'm paying attention. I really miss talking to you, hearing your voice and your laugh or a sarcastic remark I wish I could hear one of those again, I love and miss you so much. until we meet again Your Little Girl. This is really the hardest thing I've had to get used to and I hate it...

I can’t count the years that it’s been since I seen your father and mother – probably over thirty-five. I remember when you and Mark lived in one of the flats with your parents and how your Dad always had something humorous to stay and made us all laugh. If it wasn’t him telling us an incredible story then it was you or Mark reflecting on some of the situations your father got himself in to - like the time he got hit by a large wave and lost his teeth – I still laugh to myself when I picture Mark telling that story and Jerry had tears running down his face. Oh the Good Times, it seems there too short and too far apart.

I can't believe it's been over a month that you've been gone, actually I still don't really believe it's true.. papa,
its taken me some time to write on here..mostly because i still cant believe your gone. you've been my papa pretty much my whole life. we spent everyday with u and grandma after school, eating dinner with you guys or just sitting at the kitchen table and listening to you talk...you always made us laugh. when u and gram moved to florida i remember every summer it was vacation time to naples and thats where some of my favorite memories with you are. playing dominos with you, listening to you teach us the song lyrics to god bless my underwear..and the many other original songs u sang. i could just sit with u at the kitchen table by you and just talk to you for hours and i knew you would give me good advice and be honest with me. your humor was the best part about your personality. and your laugh...omg...you had the best laugh. it was contagious. you would do anything for us and would take us anywhere. even to the swamp so gram could roll her bad roast down the hill to feed the alligator...that was priceless that day..theres so many more memories, just little things i have saved in my mind and my heart and will never forget. thank you for being the best grandfather anyone could ask for. i will miss you more then you will ever know. ill make sure to take care of my family always just as you took care of yours. im convinced your heart really was made of gold. i love you papa.

dad,you will never know what kind of void you filled when my dad left me 3 1/2 years ago. you have always accepted me for who i am and no questions asked. i felt like i was a true part of your family and it was always an honor to call you dad.you made us laugh,picked the winning football teams, and i always admired your true love of food!my children were added to the list of your grandkids as i was added to the daughter list. thank you, dad, for being you....i will miss you very much and never forget when the door flew open on the bathroom when we were on the cruise!i love you and may you rest in peace. and to dawn,deb and ma,you havent lost a dad,husband, you gained an angel.he loved you all very much.i am here for you always,and as a family, we will heal together. love you all. p.s. Our hearts ache for you at the news of Bill passing. He surely will be missed. I always enjoyed talking to him when he would come to visit you, Deb, in Chicago. Our prayers are with you.

We consider ourselves fortunate to have shared many a good laugh & all to many a hard fall with our friend, Mr.Bill. Our friend Bill's unmistakable wit & bellowing laugh will be sorely missed.
