Martin P. Glynn, age 71 of Chicago, IL and Markesan, WI, passed away January 25, 2026. Beloved son of the late Martin and Betty (nee Hanlon) Glynn; Loving brother of the late Jack Glynn, the late Mike (Debbie) Glynn, Mary Kay (late Ed) Slakaitis; and the late Patricia (Gary) Glynn-Springer; Dearest uncle to Nicole Glynn (Michael Denslow), Elizabeth (Josh) Sokacich. Shawn Laverty, Tricia (Mike) Deskovich; Kevin (Heather) Laverty, Amanda (Cory) Hiler, Christopher Slakaitis, and Sarah Slakaitis; Fond great uncle and cousin to many. Marty was kind and generous. He loved a good joke and making people laugh. He was a proud member of Local 399. In his free time, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, building things, and planning his next projects. He was a loyal supporter of Toys for Tots for many years. He was a friend to many, and his spirit can never be replaced. Memorial visitation Friday from 3:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Curley Funeral Home, 6116 W. 111th St., Chicago Ridge. A memorial will be planned at a later date.
