Patricia M. Stercic, age 68, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2026, after a short illness. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, John and Phyllis Stercic. Beloved sister of Jack (the late Patti) Stercic, Bill Stercic, and Rick (Stacey) Stercic. Fond aunt and great-aunt to all of her nieces and nephews. Dear cousin and loyal friend to many who will miss her deeply. Pat was a lifelong south side resident. She loved gardening, spending time with family and was well known for hosting the best holiday parties! She was a devoted TSA employee at Midway Airport before her well-deserved retirement. Life felt louder, brighter and more joyful in Pat's presence. She was known for her sharp wit and frequent use of her favorite phrase "WTF?!" when encountering life's absurdities. A Celebration of her life and visitation will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 3:00 p.m. at Curley Funeral Home, 6116 W. 111th St., Chicago Ridge.
