I best remember him through the World Book Year Books, particularly when he came on scene with the "Year in Focus" articles from 1979-1982 to analyze with the editorial board the events and trends of a given year. (Otherwise, I had seen his name in the credits on the front page of the publication. He had been with World Book for quite some time-- from the '50s well until the 1990s. No doubt a remarkable and devoted professional to learning and publishing.) He left a great legacy in educational publishing, and because of it, I'm still a devoted World Book subscriber.
Sir, you made a great achievement and kept millions inspired and motivated. God be with you.

Dr. Nault, fondly remembered as an alumnus of Northern Michigan University; honored as Distinguished Alumnus in 1973. A personal and professional friend. His World Book leadership was extraordinary.

The name "Doctor" Nault says it all. He was the leader of and inspiration for the many World Bookers who created, produced, and sold the company's life-changing products, and he was an icon for World Book's collaborating scholars and organizations. He could laugh and spin a funny story and play a practical joke. We believe his life is changed, not ended, but his passing leaves a space for a time. Our deep sympathy to Helen and all his family.

Dr. Nault was World Book. He developed the tools (curriculum analysis, classroom research) that made World Book the only encyclopedia geared to the reading level of the user.
i will fondly remember him.
