Army WWII Vet, beloved husband of Elizabeth (nee Tessner), loving father of Patrick (Mary), Barbara and Daniel (Sharon) McDonald, dearest grandfather of Jennifer (Mark) Ceely, Gina and Raymond, fond brother of the late Sally (George) Adamick and Georgia (Joseph) Artzer, also many nieces and nephews. Resting at the Cypress Funeral Home, 1698 N. Bloomingdale Rt. (between Army Trail Rd. and North Ave.), Glendale Heights, on Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. to St. Matthew Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Member of Veteran's of Foreign Wars Post #1234. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society appreciated. 630-653-7666To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
