William Hoey Obituary

Hoey, William "Bill" L. 92; loving father of Greg Hoey, Lisa (Mike) Todd, and Geff Hoey; proud grandfather of Sean, Ryan, Tara, and Cade Todd, and Keith Hoey; cherished brother of Jim (the late Mary Jane) Hoey; adored brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend of many. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, the late Katy Hoey, his cherished son, the late Don Hoey, and his siblings, Tom, Julia, Pat, Mary, Lucy, Donny, and Lu Lu. William was a WWII veteran in the Third Army Artillery Regiment under General George Patton. Prior to his retirement, he was an electrician in IBEW #134 since 1952. Visitation Monday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines. Funeral prayers Tuesday 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home to funeral mass at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment All Saints Catholic Cemetery.
