Loving father of William, Jr. (Patricia), Mark (Kathy), Paul (Carol), Carol Lynn (Steven) Karlicek and the late Thomas. Dear grandfather of Eric (Amy), Michael (Michelle), William J. (Beth), Amelia (Jason) Brost, Rebecca (Patrick) Radoscewski, Daniel, Lara, Taylor (Thomas) Collins, Grace, Caylee, Jaclyn (Brian) Treacy, Matthew, Paul and Jake. Great grandfather of 12. Fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. Loving brother of Kenneth (Jeanette), David and Richard (Gloria). Funeral Monday 8:45 a.m. from Blake Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn to Queen of Martyrs Church, Mass 9:30 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. I am very sorry to hear of the passing of your dad.. He was a wonderful baseball coach and boss for many years. I know God is happy to welcome him, as even he cannot keep tabs on my dear friend Tom without some help.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr Hermanson's passing. I lived on the 3rd floor of their building and so miss both of your parents dearly. I still remember visiting your folks on my wedding day. I worked with Bill Hermanson in the 1960s. He was a handsome man who
was truthful and considerate with a subtle sense of humor. Just a nice guy.

I was saddened to hear that Bill had passed away. As a kid growing up on Christiana I always looked up to him. He was a great example to all of us growing up on the block. I regretted having to miss saying good bye in person. My sympathy to all of the Hermanson family.
