Death is nothing at all,
I have only slipped away into the next room,
I am I and you are you;
Whatever we were to each other, That we still are.
Call me by my old familiar name,
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used,
Put no difference in your tone,
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we shared together.
Let my name ever be the household word that it always was.
Let it be spoken without effect, without the trace of a shadow on it.
Life means all that it ever meant,
It is the same as it ever was, there is unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
I am waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner.
All is well.
-Henry Scott Holland, Canon of St. Paul's Cathedral, London

I will miss you more than you know. You are a big part of who I am. I appreciate all you have done for me. I love you.

Sweetheart - I miss you too much already. Billy - you are the love of my life, now and always. We had a lot of time, but it would never be enough. I can't wait to see you again. I carry you in my heart. It will be but a moment for you now, but an eternity for me. You have given me the greatest happiness of my life.
Your Lois

May you find peace in knowing your Dad is free from this disease. He is now, as you remember him when you were little girls. He will always be close to you, watching over from above. Keep him and the memories in your heart and he will always be with you.

Bill was a good man with a great family. I will miss the early coffee and paper sessions in Hayward. In addition, I will miss talking about real estate and current issues about DG as well as the competitive golf games that we played (that I always seem to lose). I would tell Bill after a few beers that I let him win because he was a good person and I would get the same response “yeah, right”.
