One of grandpa's favorite stories about me (which I am sure all of you have heard before) was when he stuck several empty pop bottles in my school back pack. I carried them all the way to school and finally on the way home, I found them. Well, I was delighted because I thought I would stop by the gas station and cash them in for some candy. When I got to the gas station, those particular bottles didn't have deposits, so no candy for me! Grandpa, I love you and I will miss you. You are forever in my heart.

When I think of Bill, I always think about how he took over Grandpa Haskins job of checking my hand for a ring until if finally became a reality. Now Bill will have the privilege of telling Grandpa in person that the mission has been accomplished.

We also think about how much Bill enjoyed the campgrounds, and frequently was found riding from lot to lot visiting with the other campers.

My deepest sympathy is with all the family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Just a quick memory for all of you. One of the memories I have of Bill is his telling everyone how I managed to throw Mike and Ike into the lake when they were trying to push me in. I don't think I'll ever forget how tickled Bill would get in telling this story. He will truelly be missed by many.
