I recently moved my daughter to Chicago and that triggered a memory of DSI. So I did some googling. I worked for one of the companies that DSI was hired to guide through bankruptcy. I don´t believe any jobs were lost in the process and we paid back the creditors 100% of what was owed to them. I was sorry to read that Mr. Brandt passed away. I can´t speak to every business he was brought in to turn around but he did a marvelous job with Shape, Inc.
sincerely,

I just learned of Bill's illness and passing, and my heart and prayers go out to all of you in this sad time. It's been 40 years or so since I last saw some of you, but reading of Bill's life since then has brought back so many happy memories of a simpler, easier time. I remember Bill's brilliance, and am so impressed by his achievements and how much he accomplished.
Wishing you all peace, with love.

Bill will be missed, he was truly one of a kind. I was Bill's surrogate Chapter 7 trustee for many years back in the days when we both could enjoy that work, which allowed him to pursue the bigger and better matters out in the world. Whether it was a call from an airplane, Florida, California, or London, it was always a pleasure to talk to him. My sincere condolences to his family, his many friends, and the co-workers we shared. I am sorry to be unable to attend services on July 7. His obituary, not surprisingly, disclosed even more surprises about Bill.
