Willard Eklund Obituary
Eklund, Willard H. age 78, of Oak Brook, beloved husband of Mary Ellen, loving father of Dr. Heidi Eklund and Dr. John (Dr. Jennifer) Eklund. Born in Red Wing, Minnesota, he received a Bachelor's degree from University of Minnesota, and an MBA from DePaul University. He worked as a computer systems engineer for AT&T, and a consultant for IBM. Bill was a Korean war veteran and a member of Hinsdale American Legion post. He enjoyed bridge and was a National Master. Graveside Service will be held Monday May 5, 1:00 p.m. at Bronswood Cemetery, 3805 Madison St., Oak Brook, IL 60523. Arrangement by Gibbons Elliston Funeral Home, 630-323-0275.

I was sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I worked with Bill for many years at Hawthorne Works and Warrenville. I learned a tremendous amount from Bill. He was a great teacher and a fine leader.
