Coffey, Wilbur "Bud" 84, of Merrionette Park, retired Lieutenant from Illinois Secretary of States Office for 19 years and retired from Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad for 47 years. Former Police Chief of Merrionette Park. Beloved husband of the late Betty, loving father of Sandra Watt, John (Teresa), Kevin (Pamela), James, Diane (Kevin) Chicoine and Patrick (Janet), devoted grandfather of 18, dear great-grandfather of one, dear brother of the late James, Doris Nolan and Marion Sabatino, fond brother-in-law of Dorothy Coffey and Chris (Patrick) O'Malley. Visitation Thursday, 2 to 9 p.m. Prayer service Friday, 8:30 a.m., from The Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 Greenwood Ave., Blue Island, to St. Christina Church, 11005 S. Homan, Chicago, for Mass at 9:30 a.m. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park.
