I know I was just a patient of Dr. Yapor but he changed my life back in 2000!! I wouldnt trust any other Doctor but Dr. Yapor!! He was so kind and an exceptional Doctor!! He operated on my back and all these years later my back is still feeling great!! I think of him from time to time and I have nothing but fond memories, respect and admiration!! He is truly missed!!

Dr Yapor, you have helped so many people including myself. The world lost a wonderful human being when we lost you!! You are in the arms of God now and you walk among Angels. Rest In Peace

I'm so sorry about writing this so late, truth is I didn't know that Dr. Yapor had passed away. Just the other day I was telling my boyfriend all about Dr Yapor. I told him what an amazing Doctor he was and how much I admired him. He was my surgeon many years back and I was excited about seeking him out for some help on my neck issues I have. But unfortunately to my surprise I found his obituary instead. I would like to send my most sincere condolences to his family!! I am truly heartbroken!!

My first visit with DR. Yapor was in Nov.1994 he did a decompressive laminectomy Surgery on the L3, L4, And made the quality of my life so much better. I then saw him in May 2014, for another surgery consultation and to Schedule a back surgery from an accident. He told me to think about really hard for this surgery was going to be 3 level fusion. In October 2016 I wanted to wait for after the holidays being that this surgery would take months to recover. In January 2017 I called the office to make a visit to DR.Yapor and was informed he passed away suddenly. He will be missed. we lost great talent and a very very nice Guy. GOD BLESS YOU DR.YAPOR.

Dr Yapor performed surgery on my spine . From the moment I walked into his office I was so comfortable with his expertise and knowledge. What an excellent surgeon and such a humble man. God Bless you and your Family.

It came to my knowledge the saddened news about Dr. Yapor's passing. He was a friendly and sensitive man. He listened to my needs and did the best of his vast knowledge to help. Dr Yapor was one of the best Dr's I've ever seen. He operated on me several times within the past two years. He made a wonderful change in my life. He saved my life and now lost his. Today I called to make a follow up appt. for my daughter only to find out the horrible news. My condolences to Mrs. Yapor and Children; I am truly sorry for your loss. He was an AMAZING Dr. and an EXTRAORDINARY Person.

My husband and I knew him personally as well as professionally. The world has truly lost a great surgeon, father, husband, and friend. We pray that all the angels in heaven have you wrapped tightly in their arms and may the good lord keep you resting in your eternal home. We miss you WES.

I am sorry to have heard so late and indirectly of Wes's passing. I referred many patients to him from shortly after he began practicing and we worked together on cases at two hospitals for many years. He was always cordial to patients and quick to contact me when asked to consult. He was conservative when needed and quick to intervene when needed. He was a one-off and will be sorely missed by his colleagues and patients, but, of course, nowhere near as much as by his family. My sincere condolences on your loss.

Dr. Yapor performed surgery on me many years ago, and changed my life. Such a talent, lost too soon.

Dr Yapor was such a great man. He helped me get my life back after a major spine injury. I owe him so much!!! I am truly sorry for the families lose of this great man!

My condolences to all the family of Wesley Yapor. I knew Wesley (Cuquito to me and my family) and his dear Mother for many years, the roads of life sent us apart but both of them have always been in my heart and memory. We spent beautiful times together, we had lots of fun, and at times when life was hard we stood together, all three of us liked and loved each other. I remember him as a sweet child and a wonderful young man, he made us proud as he became an M.D. he's been a role model to many.

My family and I feel sorry to have heard that he went so early. RIP, we believe that some day we'll be reunited together with our great God, till then dear friend! Big hugs of sorrow to the family and all that knew him.

Dr. Yapor was the best doctor I have seen by far for my debilitating spine conditions. Before I even got into the room Dr. Yapor would have my test results on the screen waiting and ready to go over them with me. We had future plans of operating, and he was the only doctor I would have trusted with doing something so invasive on me. He made sure that I understood clear as day what was going on and how certain medications affected me differently. I also know Mr. Yapor as the father of my friend Myles Yapor. I always knew that when my patients saw Dr. Yapor, they were in good hands. I always admired and envied his presence, bedside manner, impeccable appearance and command of knowledge and willingness to share it. Although I was in awe of him, the courage he must have had to do what he did, and the risks involved, he always treated with me the utmost respect and spoke to me as an equal. As a medical student at Northwestern, during my neurosurgery rotation, I thought,"Nope, this is too much." I went into Internal Medicine, where, at least I had an opportunity to interact with somebody like Dr. Wesley Yapor. My deepest condolences to all his family, friends, and patients. I want to say that I believe Dr. Yapor most probably saved my life. Nineteen years ago I was diagnosed with a brain aneurism by another doctor. I ended up having two aneurisms diagnosed by Dr. Yapor. The surgery was a success. My prayers are with his family at this most difficult time. God bless.

Wesley and I knew each other for 44 yrs. Many memories have come flooding in. What a shock when I heard of his passing.Our personal and professional lives always intertwined leaving a trail of laughter and fondness for our profession and friendship. We shared too many memories. His biggest pride was his children who always brought a smile to his face. I just saw Dr.Yapor two weeks ago. what a fine man and surgeon.
I never left his office feeling like I didn't understand what was going on. What was the plan and why he chose the plan he chose.
no matter how many people were there he always took the time to sit down and explain his diagnosis and his plan for healing.

Dr. Yapor was a wonderful man and a very talented surgeon who helped me personally through a very difficult back injury. He will be deeply missed.
