I only heard about Brother Wayne's death in the past few days and was greatly saddened by this.

I met him in Montreal in 1988 when we were both staying at the Benedictine monastery. He kindly gave me one of his books and I have maintained an interest in his thinking through his writings since then.

For 6 months I had the privledge of living in a Benedictime community with our Brother Wayne and others following their path. He truly was the kindest and most loving human being I have ever met. I carry you in my heart dear one. Rest in Christ and pray for us as we pray for you until we meet again.

It was an honor to know and to tease Brother Wayne in the years planning the 1993 Parliament.

Dear Friends of Wayne,

It was only today that I learned of his death. I was out of town when the news broke and so I was not aware that he had passed away. In any case, he was a great friend for me too. He encouraged me to look into religious life and to become a writer. He was one of those special people God sent into my life to help me fulfill my vocation. I had hoped to invite him and speak to my postulants. I am fortunate that I had a chance to speak with him as I did and am now able to share it with those in our formation program. May the Lord whom he sought so much now bless him with his light and love. I offered Mass for him this evening.

Good show, Wayne.

Your journey was very worthwhile. We will continue the good work with the help of Father Bede and yourself from the starry skies.

With love,

Sunder

I am so sorry to learn of the death of Brother Wayne Teasdale. He was a good friend of mine when we studied at Fordham University in the 1970's. He always retained the heart of a child. May God receive Wayne into Light Eternal.

Brother Teasdale was indeed a special and gifted soul. As student of his at DePaul University, his teachings enhanced all perceptions I have of the Divine and solidified my sense of oneness with the universe. With me will always be his ideology, examples of his kindness and his sly sense of humor.

I have been honored and blessed to have been in his class.

Dear Wayne,

Thank you for the time I spent with you at Diane's house, cutting your hair, while she was organizing a wedding which you attended. You are a delightful spirit and bless your heart.

Peace be with you,

Sandy Pacer

Wayne and I were friends from Hartford, CT as far back as the '60's. Wayne was an authentic psychonaut, unafraid to push the limits of consciousness through not only an intellectual appreciation of mysticism and shamanism, but the practical application of ancient meditative and shamanic techniques. Wayne, watch over us, dear brother, and keep us posted from the other side...
