Behn, Warren A. "Bean" age 78, late of Dyer, IN, beloved husband of Mary (nee Prahovich) for nearly 55 years, loving father of Jan Behn (Steven) Brokke and Bill (Jill) Behn, devoted grandfather of Andy, Heather and recently acquired steps: Melanie and Emily Brokke, fond brother of Lois Gassmere, Marion Edwards, Harry (Beverly) Behn and Doris (John) Dineen, uncle of many nieces and nephews. Warren spent his entire career in outside sales at Industial Mill Supplies including Illiana Industrial, Great Lakes and Black Industial Supply. Veteran of U.S. Army WWII, Purple Heart recipient and member of the 71st Evacuation Hospital. Visitation Friday, 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral Saturday, 10 a.m., at the Elmwood Chapel, 11300 W. 97th Ln. ( block West of U.S. 41-Wicker Ave., at 97th St.), St. John, IN. Interment Memory Lane Cemetery, Schererville, IN.
