Peluchiwski, Wanda 82, April 15, 2007, suddenly. Beloved wife of Alex, loving mother of Lydia (Jesus) Nunez and the late Irene Pelak, cherished grandmother of Jessica, Alexander, Jacqueline and Christopher Nunez; Michael and Valerie Pelak, survived by family in Latvia. Visitation Friday, 4 to 9 p.m. at Muzyka Funeral Home, 2157 W. Chicago Ave. (at Leavitt St.). Panachyda (wake service) 7 p.m. Funeral Saturday, 10 a.m. at St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, 2238 W. Cortez St. (at Oakley Blvd.). Interment Elmwood Cemetery. Info: 773-278-7767.

I pray that your beautiful Wanda is now held in the arms of angels and that remembering her spirit and strength will help to comfort your hearts during this hard time.
My "Baba" always said that the gates of heaven were only open on Sunday and therefore only the most special, kind and giving people died on that day. How appropriate that God called His special Wanda home on Sunday. May Alex and all of Wanda's family gain comfort in that thought. Please accept my deepest condolences.
