Szuck, Walter age 91, Veteran of WWII Army, 1769 E & S Platoon (1942-1945), The Illinois National Guard 124th Field Artillary (1935-1936) and Civilian Conservation Corps (1934). Beloved husband of the late Josephine (nee Kapustiak), loving father of Walter F. (Andrea) and Martin (Genevieve), dear grandfather of Denise (Jeffrey) Urban, Nicole, Kristen (William) Bruno, Matthew, Philip, Thomas and Martin, great-grandfather of Natalie, Spencer and William. Funeral Wednesday, 9:30 a.m., from Ridge Funeral Home, 6620 W. Archer Ave. (corner of Natoma), to St. Daniel the Prophet Church for 10 a.m. Mass. Interment Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday, 3 to 9 p.m. Retired employee of the Chicago Sun-Times and member of I.S. & E.U. 50 year + member of First Catholic Slovak Union. 773-586-7900.
