I will miss you Pa everyday for the rest of my life. You were my rock, the one who took care of this family & protected us all from everything & everyone bad. Now that you're gone, we will come together & be grams rock..you raised a strong family & we miss you dearly. I will cherish all of our memories & keep the memory of you alive in this family. I know you are worried about gram, but we are all taking care of her! I love you and miss you.

I only met Kimmy's pa once @ baby Addi's baptism party & he cracked me up that he was "sneaking" deserts that he shouldn't be eating! LOL! God Bless!

It was always a pleasure when Aunt Char & Uncle Wally came by our house. Uncle Wally always seemed to be proud of our accomplishments in life. And the stories he had to tell, well if you knew him you'd understand. Our prayers are with all of you.

I never thought this time would come, when I didn't have you here with us. I love you so much and my heart is broken. I've walked into your house and didn't see you sitting on the couch, I didn't hear you greeting me with the "what are you doing here", I didn't see your smiling face when I would reply "I came to visit you guys pa". I'm going to miss your pancakes on our holiday brunches. I'm going to miss your laugh and your smile and most of all i'm going to miss my pa just being here with all of us. I wish there was a way to just hug you one last time. I know people say this is the time to be strong but I can't do it I can't bring myself to smile and be the way we were. I promise to take care of gram. I know you loved her with your whole heart. I know you loved us all.

I told you at on my wedding day that I will always be a Smajda and I intend to remind my kids often of how lucky I was to be a Smajda kid. I really am going to miss you pa.
