Walter Simons Obituary

Simons, Walter F. age 84, of Delray Beach, FL, passed away on July 23, 2008, he moved to Florida from Deerfield, IL, over 30 years ago. Walter was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Lorel F. Simons. He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife of 60 years, Helen M. Simons and their two sons, Peter Simons of Chicago, IL, and Mark (Pam) Simons of Deerfield, IL. Walter was a graduate of Purdue University with a bachelor degree in Civil Engineering in 1946. He went on to work for a family owned business until his retirement. He loved to make jewelry as a hobby and enjoyed acting in small productions. He will be deeply missed and loved by all who knew him. A private memorial service will be held in his honor. Donations may be made to the American Hearing Association on behalf of Walter F. Simons. The family has entrusted the care of their loved one to the National Cremation Society.
