Walter Kowalik Obituary
Kowalik, Walter J. age 82, Veteran of Army WWII. Beloved husband of Wanda (nee Jarosik), loving father of Janice Rogers, Jeffrey (Catherine) and Joseph (Sue) Kowalik, dearest grandfather of Kaylin, DeAun, Anthony, Gregory, Kaci and Samantha, proceeded in death by two sisters and one brother, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral Friday, 9:30 a.m. from Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave., (55th Street just W. of Harlem), to St. Blase Church, Mass 10 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Life member of Des Plaines Valley V.F.W. Post #6863, usher at St. Blase Church, former Summit Policeman and member of the Senior Polka Association. In lieu of flowers, donations to Disabled American Veterans, St. Thomas Hospice or masses preferred. Visitation Thursday, 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. 708-458-0208 or www.foranfuneralhome.com
