Dear Ruth, How sorry I was to hear about Waid. I served with him at First Chicago from 1961 on. He was well known, highly respected and greatly admired in Chicago's investment community. As a member of the "Fat Cats" group where at each luncheon we all were anxious to hear what Waid had to say, I know that he will be greatly missed but happily remembered. Most sincerely, Ward
