Bullett, Vivian H. age 91, beloved wife of the late Peter, loving mother of William "Bill" (Karla). Visitation at Herdegen-Brieske Funeral Home, 1356 W. Wellington Ave., 4 to 9 p.m., Thursday. Funeral service Friday, 10 a.m., in chapel. Entombment Maryhill Cemetery. Vivian received her teaching degree in the late 1930's in Arkansas. Met her husband while teaching high school in Oklahoma a few years later. Married Peter J. on August 21, 1952 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Made their home in Chicago their entire married life. Received her Masters degree in Math Education from Northeastern Illinois University in 1967. Taught fourth grade at Pulaski Grade School in Chicago for many years retiring in 1980. She was a parishioner at St. Alphonsus for many years, active in the Mother's Club and Choir. She was a breast cancer survivor. Volunteered at St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital where she had been treated. She spent many years after her retirement painting and sketching still lifes, and was a member of the Pastel Society. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL 60601, would be appreciated. 773-525-0178.
