Virginia Pectol Obituary

Virginia Warden Pectol
Virginia Warden Pectol, 78, passed away June 19, 2008 in American Fork, Utah. She was born in Lehi, Utah on April 9, 1930, the daughter of Francis Martin & Nellie Elizabeth Patrick Warden.
She married Byron Pectol on March 12, 1948 and their marriage was later solemnized in the Temple. They had four children, Douglas, Barbara, Diana and Christene.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed serving in numerous callings, especially as the Librarian. She enjoyed gardening, handy work and crafts and was known for her pies. Virginia worked for the Alpine School District as a lunch worker.
She is survived by a son, Douglas (Nancy) Pectol; daughters, Barbara Gene (Doune) Pollard, Christene (Matthew) Behunin; brothers, Tom, Jim, Robert and Jack Warden; sisters, Peg Fawcett, Donna Adams; 16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by daughter, Diana Kay Pectol, her husband Byron, parents and brothers Dan Warden and George Warden.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 26, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in the American Fork 23rd Ward Chapel, 700 N. 350 W. Friends and family may call Thursday morning, June 26, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. Interment, American Fork City Cemetery. Online guest book at wingmortuary.com.
