Virginia M. Fondakowski, of Romeoville, IL, formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Michael A. Fondakowski; loving mother of Susan M. Fondakowski, Michael J. Fonda and John M. (Susan M.) Fondakowski; devoted grandmother of Brittany, Michael, Christopher, Nicholas and Jennifer; fond sister of Ted (Lois) Olejnik and the late Danita (late Jim) Chesler; many nieces and nephews. Visitation Wednesday December 30, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Anderson Memorial Chapel, 606 Townhall Dr., Romeoville, IL, funeral service Thursday, December 31, 2020, 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Andrew the Apostle Church, Romeoville, IL for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL will be private. Current CDC guidelines and Governor's mitigation rules will be followed.
