Dear Elaine, Please accept my deepest sympathy in the loss of your parents. I will never forget the Halloween party sleep-over they hosted when we were all about 16 years old. Your parents were truly pillars of the parish, and I admired them very much. My parents are gone now, too; my father 4 years, and my mother 16 years. You were lucky to have had your parents for such a long time, and that they passed away within a year of each other.

I was the wife of your mom's late cousin Ted. I remember how your mom loved to dance and watched her and your dad dance at many weddings over the years. Josephine was my mother-in-law and Ted and I were the ones who were always with her at all the weddings and wakes.

Vi and Al were our neighbors since 1986. Both were wonderful people, always pleasant, always a smile. It was very sad when Al passed away last year after his battle with cancer, but Vi kept a positive attitude and again, always that smile.



Both are truly missed. Our sympathy goes out to your family. May God be with each of you during this very sad time.
