Bredrup, Viola Maria 96, was born into life in Sweden on April 26, 1921, and released into eternity on November 25, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Robert W.; loving mother of Scott (Jane), Drew (Pamela), and Kent (Donna) Bredrup; adoring grandmother of Erin (Sherman) Shechtman, Kate Sprouse, Tim Bredrup, Julie (Ray) Small, Julia (Jack Donaldson) Bredrup, Kristin (Joe) Catalano, Greg (Amy) Laubenstein, and Charley (Marjory); caring great-grandmother of Lydia, Evan, and Brody Shechtman, Ruby and Vivian Sprouse, Audrey and Samantha Catalano, Wesley Donaldson, and Maeve Bredrup; dear daughter of the late Carl and Anna Ericson; caring aunt and fond friend of many. Lifelong member of the International Order of Good Templars. Retired as a Teacher's Aide from the Chicago Public School System, one of the first ever hired. Visitation Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Service, 12:00 p.m. at Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home, 6901 W. Belmont, Chicago. Interment Mt. Emblem Cemetery, Elmhurst.
