Vincent Quaglietta Obituary

Vincent Quaglietta of New Windsor died suddenly on December 17, 2004 at home. He was 72.

Born on September 18, 1932 in New York, NY to the late Antonio and Marie Giovannia Quaglietta. On April 12, 1953 Vincent married Sandra Monteforte in Queens, NY.

He retired from his position as Supervisor of Building and Grounds for the Newburgh Central School district in 2000. For the past 47 years Vincent served as one of Jehovah?s Witnesses and For the past 20 years he has been served as an elder in the New Windsor Congregation of Jehovah?s Witnesses.

Survivors include his devoted wife Sandra at home, Loving Children Michael and his wife Deborah Lynn Quaglietta of Tomkins Cove, and Vincent and his wife Kim Wager Quaglietta of Plattekill.Loving brother Pasquale Quaglietta and a loving sister Marguerite Bubaris. Cherished grandchildren , Denise, David Vincent, Jennifer, Vincent Anthony, Gregory, Sandra, Vincent Louis , Amber, , and David Christopher, and 7 Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by one brother Anthony.

The family will be present to receive friends on Sunday December 19, 2004 from 3-6:30 pm at Coloni Funeral Home 3001 Route 9W New Windsor, NY. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday December 19, 2004 at 7:30 pm at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah?s Witnesses Corner of Route 207 and Old Little Britan Road Town of Newburgh. Arthur Mouritzen of the New Windsor Congregation of Jehovah?s Witnesses will give the Memorial talk . For Guest book and directions visit www.colonifuneralhome.com

I am so very sorry for your loss. I had the honor of working with Vinny at Newburgh Schools. Vinny was a great person. I often think back to how Vinny dealt with issues and problems and try to meet that standard as I do my work. Much of what I learned from Vinny was priceless. He has touched many during his lifetime and has certainly left his imprint on all who knew him.
