Vincent Ladd Obituary

Ladd, Vincent 65, of 203 E. Main, South Pekin, died July 11, 2005 at his residence. Born November 10, 1939 in New Liberty to Ollie Wilford and Tressa Mae Johnston Ladd, he married Kathy Marie Formanski on June 9, 1990 in Melrose Park. She survives along with one brother, Jesse R. (Mary) Ladd of Paducah, KY. Mr. Ladd was preceded in death by his parents, three half-brothers and two half-sisters. A self-employed truck driver for 37 years, retiring in 2002, he and his wife have owned and operated the South Pekin Mini Storage the past 3 years. He was a dirt track racing car mechanic and fan. He also was a NASCAR fan. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2005 at the South Pekin Congregational Church. Cremation has been accorded.
