Vincent Alesia Obituary

just found out today about vince, there was not a kinder man on the planet. wish we had stayed in contact with each other.the alesia family is top notch,would like to hear from them.

I was shocked to hear of your loss. I was out of town so I could not make the funeral but I thought about Mr. Alesia and the wonderful family that he loved and inspired.

I was stunned to see Mr. Alesia had passed away. I have many wonderful memories of growing up with the Alesia family in Kings Point. Our families were very close at one time and I have memories of my brothers playing baseball with the Alesia boys and our dad's going to the race track together. My parents, Jim and Judy Flynn are both gone now (Jim 14 years, Judy 2) and it shows how time goes so quickly. I hope the years overall have been good to all of you. I attended Holy Family School with Vince in 1950. He was the tallest
boy in our 8th grade class & one of the nicest. The nuns never picked on him!

My family's condolences to yours. I will always remember Mr. Alesia as a man of kindness who tried to make others feel welcome. Weather it was a reassuring word when he dropped Bob and I at college for the first time our freshman year, or giving me his pick for the winner of the Kentucky Derby at a family party, he was generous, caring man.

His legacy is rich with a wonderfully loving family. He will be missed by so many.
