Vickie Menagh Obituary
Vickie Lee Menagh, age 86, of Battle Lake, Minnesota, died peacefully on Friday, December 15, 2023, at her home in Perham, Minnesota. Vickie was born April 18, 1937, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Victor and Roxie (Pryor) Smith. On August 30, 1958, Vickie was united in marriage to Vernon Roy Menagh. Preceding Vickie in death were her parents; her husband Vernon (2001); her sons Lewis Menagh and Larry Menagh; and her grandsons Michael Menagh and Brandon Menagh. Surviving Vickie are her sons, Vernon Menagh of Perham, Minnesota, and Robert (Denise) Menagh of Roswell, New Mexico; her eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Vickie will be remembered as a loving, caring, and devoted mother, grandmother, and aunt. Everyone she met, she touched. Vickie will truly be missed. Vickie's cremains will be interred in the family plot in a private ceremony on Monday, January 8, 2024, at Fairmount-Willow Hills Memorial Park, in Willow Springs, Illinois. The family will gather on Saturday, January 13, 2024, for a private celebration of her life at an undisclosed location. In lieu of flowers, you may donate in Vickie's Honor to World Wildlife Fund's Adopt an Elephant program or to Children's Miracle Network, two causes dear to her heart. --Schoeneberger Funeral & Cremation Service, Perham, MN.

What a special lady! Vickie was my mother in law and she taught me so much, including how to properly burp a baby. She was a generous and loving mom. Every year, she sent me a birthday card, without fail. She was the OG homemaker. They sure don´t make `em like they used to. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
