Vicki Ward Obituary

I am sorry to hear the news a about your loss.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this time. Vicki was a wonderful person and I am so glad that i got to work with her.

I first met Vicki at Cani Headstart. She was a very sweet and kind person. RIP

The two things I will remember the most about this amazing woman was her passion to help all the kids she came in contact with, and her amazign smile. She is loved by many and will be missed each and every day. To her husband Chris, her two children, and her grandbaby, may god give you the strength and courage to help you in this time of grief.

I first knew Vicki as a child. She lived down the block from me in Bridgeport. She was my first friend, and I was hers. We spent many days playing with our Barbie dolls, roller skating, and just being kids. I accompanied her to Aunt Barb's home in Ft. Wayne on numerous occasions for short vacations. Fun times! As time moved forward we went to different schools, and moved in different directions. My mom and hers had remained friends over the years, and my younger brother John and her brother Joe Mike were friends as well. I was reacquainted with Vicki through my good friend, Anna Daniel Hasan. Vicki had been married to Anna's brother, and the two of them had a close bond. Through outings with Anna I got to reconnect with Vicki, and what a treat it was to see my old friend again! Vicki's memory and our friendship will remain with me always. She was a kind soul and had a huge heart. It was truly an honor to know her. My thoughts and prayers go out to her husband, her children, her family, and to Anna who loved her as a sister. Vicki and I were teachers together at (CANI) Brightpoint Head Start at the Temple we were a great team! I later became her supervisor at (CANI Head Start @ Grace St. John. Vicki had a love for the children and their families at Head Start. A spirit like hers is what Head Start and this world needed. Rest peacefully you will be missed.

I worked with Vicki at Headstart: Brightpoint and CANI. Vicki was a great teacher, person and friend. Her kind hearted spirit will be forever missed. I feel Blessed to have had the privilege of knowing such giving, loving, kind and all around awesome person. Vicki loved her family first then every child she came in contact with. We had several get togethers where we enjoyed each others company. I am praying for all of you. I miss my sister whom I dearly love. Rest in peace. Sister Friends Forever Sharon Hill

I worked with Vicki at the Redwood Inn so many years ago. Whenever I saw her, she always had a beautiful smile and a kind word. She was a bright light in this increasingly dark world.
