Panega, Vernon R. 82, long time resident of Chicago Heights, died March 9th. He was a veteran of the United States Army in World War II. He was the beloved husband of the late Anne Bade Panega (nee Repta), dear ex-husband of Evelynn Bowman (nee Mosley), loving father of Larry (Lenore), Randy and Brian Panega, and Shari (Dan) Myers, fond grandfather of Keli, Jody, Jennifer, Phil and Amber, great-grandfather of Angeliqua, dear brother of Richard Panega and Adeline (Paul) Dolmer and the late Wilbur "Red" Panega. Memorial service on Tuesday, March 14th, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Ginger Creek Community Church, 2850 Gingerwoods Parkway, Aurora, IL. Prayer service begins at 6 p.m. Arrangements by Cremation Society of Illinois, 800-622-8358
