Thank you Al for always opening your heart and home since childhood. Was like having a second set of parents. I ditto everything Jackie said, a second home indeed. You treated us like your own daughters. Being from "the old country" my dad always enjoyed your company so much. Even in his last days I could always bring a smile to his face by bringing up Al Malfeo. I know you will be having a glass of wine together in heaven.
A very generous host who loved a good party, you treated all of us kids, AND our families, like one of your own and made sure we knew it!
I will remember your garden, your cooking (no one would go hungry as long as you were around), your generosity, but most of all, the way you took such great care of your family who meant more to you than anything in this world! Frank, Carm, Noreen, Ellen and Patricia are so lucky to have you as their dad.
Rejoin our beloved Brigid, know how much you are loved, how much you will be missed and rest in peace our friend.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. When my mom told me this morning, all the childhood memories came rushing back. I hope you find some comfort in Mr. Malfeo being with your mother. I have so much respect for that man who was a father figure to us as well as we grew up...not to mention made the best lasagna...which I still talk about. Much Love to All of you!

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. All the memories from when we were little came rushing back when mom told me this morning. I am so sorry for your loss, but hope you find comfort in him being with your mom. I still have such respect for that man, as I looked at him as a father figure growing up...one who made the best lasagna ever...that I still talk about. Love to you all.

Al, you and Bridie will always have a special place in my heart. You took me in like I was one of your own.
I will never forget the day you handed me the keys to your car, and when I went to give them back you told me to hang on to them with a big smile..your plans were to have a good time and you were not driving.
I think we all enjoyed ourselves.
I was so delighted to put your garden in, I knew how much it meant to you. So many good memories in such a short time, that I cherish till this day and forever.
Love you, Margie
