Trula Russell Obituary
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Joines Funeral Home, Newman, with the Rev. Duane Oakley officiating. Visitation will be one hour before services. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery, Newman.
Mrs. Russell was born July 8, 1921, in Odin, Ind., the daughter of Albert and Gladys Zigler Lamb. She was employed by Douglas Nightingale Manor for 16 years. She married Harold Russell on Dec. 14, 1938, in Newman. He died Dec. 13, 1984.
Surviving are her son, Larry Russell of Newman; daughter, Anna Jean Russell of Champaign; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Marjorie Peecher of Tuscola; Virginia Taylor of Newman; Charlotte Stark of Pineville, Mo.; Bonnie Clough of Hindsboro.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters and one grandson.
