Dear Ma,
I just dreamt of you, You looked so happy dancing and immediately I cried of your sight. You were wearing a dress of your favorite color and as we sat down and talked, you wiped away my tears. Everything was so vivid but nothing is clearer than the fact that you are being missed. Thank you for guiding me. We love you so much.

DEAREST MA,
Today you would have reached 100 years of life! You lived a full life following the path that you trusted God had set for you. You believed all of life was a blessing and that it should be enjoyed. Thank you for teaching me to see my life as a gift from God. When I find myself in difficult situations, I try to remember this advice.
I know you were with us last night when we celebrated your birthday. We know you are with us always, and your presence was felt. The new generations growing and bringing joy and laughter to our memories.
Pang gave a loving and heartfelt speech during the mass. He pulled a rosary from his pocket and held it up for all to see. He said that was the secret of your marriage--the faith you both shared in God.
I love you, Ma! I miss you, but I carry you in my heart always.

Everdearest Ma,
I have the fondest memories of my childhood with you and Lolo. I can't just forget how you always wanted everyone to squeeze just to eat together with your favorite Papaya on the side. How you always ask me and ate to sing for you and lolo and making us feel better whenever our ates go out because we're too you young to join them. You are such an inspiration to us and whenever i pray, i know that you are there beside God looking down at us almost saying that "there is my family, guide them everyday". No words can describe how much we miss you Lola. Thank you for everything. Until next time.
Love, Gian

Dear Ma,
It's October into November again, and I can't help but recall our last times with you. I can't believe it's almost been 2 years.
Our last manicure together is a memory I will cherish for the rest of my life. You always encouraged me to play the piano and, for you, I couldn't refuse. I played your song: Maalala Mo Kaya. I think it made you remember your courtship with Pang. :) I can hear you singing this song and translating it for me so many times. There was the day that I taped numbers to the piano so you could play Maalaala Mo Kaya and Happy Birthday. You practiced and practiced that afternoon so you could play for Pang when he got home from work. I was as tickled as you were when you were able to play for him. Those numbers are still on the piano.
I miss you so much and I'm praying with you often. I hope you are enjoying everyone who you had missed for so long. I hope you can see how your family has grown with the addition of Jackson. Thank you for always being there for us and forever impacting my heart, mind, and soul with your love and care.
Love Always,
Djeng-Djeng

MY DEAREST MA,
Today I came across this passage. It helped alleviate my sorrow as I recalled all the pain and suffering you went through.
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered "Come to me." With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
I miss my mother so much.
All my love,
Dar

MY DEAREST MA,
Today I came across this passage which helped alleviate my sorrow as I recall the pain and suffering that you were going through about the same time last year.
I will miss you forever.

For the Family,
Our deepest sympathy.
For Apu,
Most people who knows you says you are very positive, very loving, so on and so forth. You have all the best adjectives. But I wanted to borrow a word used by a priest in New York. A Spanish word: "CARINOSO" also in Filipino "CARINOSA". So everything to describe you is only one word. You are caring, loving, forgiving, more and more adjectives is needed.

"You are so beautiful, Apo"
This is what I told Apo every single time I saw her; and she is, was, and will be.

The fondest memory I have of Ima is probably the time we spent with her at Tita Dar's house. We were all sitting around telling jokes and she was so happy.

My family would like to extend our sincerest sympathies to the Laxamana family. Before moving out east I belonged to the same parish as Auntie Trining and have vivid memories of hanging out with some of her grandchildren (now adults). She was an inspiration to many of us and there's no doubt she will be missed.

My condolences go out to the family and my thoughts and prayers are with you. She was a beautiful woman with grace and full of joy. I knew her through her grandson Jeffrey Rivera. I loved attending the renewal of her wedding vows and remember being amazed by all the love in her family, her loving relationship with her husband for so many years and was thinking what a role model she is to all women. She will be missed! God Bless You!

To Live is Christ and to Die is Gain. Ma, as called by her loved ones, the sister of my Dad who went ahead of her and I believe together are rejoicing with my mon in heaven.
What legacy did Ma leave to us? She left to us especially me to be a prayerful woman, a vessel of honor, full of joy and laughter. Not a dull moment can you experience with her. I would always cherish the moments telling me the stories about the lovelife of my parents. We would laugh together.
God gave me the privilege to take care of her last Februay and the last season of her life in the hospitals and nursing home this October and November. In the silence of the night alone with her, I would pray for her, sing for her and asking her to squeeze my hand if she hears me and she would response. I would cry on those nights thinking I am losing a great Aunt that I considered also to be my Mom. I would always remember those moments with her though I live in Los Angeles but those times with her cheered me up, encouraged me that as we journey through life, we just have to fix our eyes on Jesus who is the author and finisher of our faith. As I left her to go back home one week before she died, I knew from my heart that she is ready to meet our Lord Jesus Christ. She is a great mother like the woman in Proverbs 31 of the Bible.
For the family, "Blessed are those who mourn and they shall be comforted."

It was with deep sadness when we received news about the passing of Mrs. Laxamana. She was our role model and a beloved friend of St. Margaret Mary's community. We are immensely honored to have known her as a friend and an erudite adviser. Win and Grace Villamora
