Timothy Shields Obituary

I just saw Tim's obit on face book. I worked with Tim at Agra Trading . He was a high school kid that worked there in the summers. He taught me to be a runner. We saw each other for years down at the Board and in wicker park. He was a very sweet , kind and fun guy. Always helpful and a very fond memory for my life. I am deeply sorry to his wonderful family that I never met but always heard about in very loving word. Pete Donaghue

I'm so sorry for your loss. I remember skiing with Tim in Aspen when we were kids -- seems impossible it was as long ago as it was. His photo brought back warm memories of those trips.

My sympathies and prayers to the Shields family in their time of loss. I'll reiterate, one of the "good guys" from Loyola. I'll always remember the Union Jack shorts as he was with the times.

Jan, Mary and Peggy,
My heart is just breaking for you at Tim's accident and death.
When I saw the picture in the obit, it was just as I remembered Tim. Recently I told someone the story of David and Tim with Tim's first cigar that David told me years ago.

I pray for you all as I'm sure his death is just sinking in now that the funeral is over. I'll say a rosary tonight for Tim's eternal peace and donate to the Courage Program in Tim's name.
