Day is done.
Gone the sun.
From the lakes
From the hills.
From the sky.
All is well.
Safely rest.
God is nigh.

Fading light.
Dims the sight.
And a star.
Gems the sky.
Gleaming bright.
From afar.
Drawing nigh.
Falls the night.

Thanks and praise.
For our days.
Neath the sun
Neath the stars.
Neath the sky

As we go.
This we know.
God is nigh

My deepest sympathy to Joanie & Jackie! I have lots of great memories of games on Farwell after dinner before the lights came on and our Mom's calling us in! I think I also have some great pictures of getting married to him when we were kids. I always think of him on our shared birthday and will continue to do so with a smile on my face. He will be missed!

My deepest sympathies to Joanie and Jack. I've had the pleasure of knowing Tim for the last 35 years, since I was 18. Tim was the man I should have, and will always regret not marrying. Tim taught me that there is goodness in people and to enjoy life like there is no tomorrow. Tim cherished life and all of his friends. I am truly glad I had the chance to talk on the phone with him one last time. Tim, there is no pain you are receiving anymore. I know we will meet again. I have always and will always love you. We will never forget the pleasure you brought to us. Rest in peace. Love always

I was sorry to hear of the passing of Tim Rohan, my classmate at St Jerome School. We graduated in 1963 and I always remember Tim as one of the nicer guys in the class. He square danced pretty well too. It appears he spent his life in Rogers Park and made a lot of friends along the way. I am sure he will be a welcomed addition to Heaven. GODSPEED, Margaret M. Hickey (Akbar)

I AM VERY SORRY TO HEAR OF THE PASSING OF TIM ROHAN. I WENT TO SCHOOL WITH HIM AT ST JEROME AND GRADUATED WITH HIM IN 1963. HE WAS NOT A BAD GUY, ACTUALLY ONE OF THE NICER GUYS IN THE CLASS. IT SEEMS HE SPENT HIS LIFE IN ROGERS PARK SO I GUESS YOU WOULD CALL HIM A ICON OF SORTS. I ALWAYS LIKED TIM AND I HOPE HE WILL REST IN PEACE. YOUR CLASSMATE, MARGARET M. HICKEY (AKBAR) 1963 ST JEROMES.

No one had the zest for life like my man Skinny. What great times we had in New Orleans at the Jazz Fest to just chillin out in Arizona. Our trips down the Mississippi were unforgetable and vacationing in Maui just won't be the same. Life without Tim won't be the same but the memories Jimmy and I have will always make us smile.

Joannie and Jack our sincere condolences and to your entire family.

Skinny may you rest in peace and God bless you. You will be missed and we love you dearly.

The TURF has lost one of their true warriors with the passing of our beloved SKINUE. In my youth, one of my favorite passtimes was closing the 5 AM bars on Saturday night with Skinny. As Rich Carter wrote, Skinny knew all the stories but he was never worried about embellishing them. We shared many a beer (as well as other things) but we also shared the same birthdate. I know I'll miss my friend the most when every October 12th comes along.

My sincere condolences to the Rohan family and my thoughts and prayers are with you all. GOD bless Timmy!

I am truly sad about the passing of a great friend, one who I always looked forward to seeing when I travel to Chicago every year. Skinny always made me laugh, telling those great stories of his life's experiences. He told stories like a pro and made me feel like I was there enjoying the 'off the wall' mischief with him.

I'm also very sad I can't be there to celebrate his life with all his numerous friends and family. His stories will flow for hours during the services--days, years after them!

My condolences to the Rohan family, I will miss Skinny immensely! I was fortunate to have him as a great, close friend and will always smile, laugh when I think of Skinny telling one of his unique, colorful stories.

Joanie and Jack,

I will forever carry a fondness for Timmy as our "mentor" in the ways of growing up "streetwise" in the tumoltuous times that were the "sixties" on the block. To Jack, Eddie and I he was our Fagen ! Built for comfort; a kids Judge Roy Bean; dispensing advice and justice expertly; a mountain, a natural force; with a creamy nougat center !! God bless "TINY TIM"!!
