Dear Carol. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your husband. I was a member of the O'hare ANG with Tom and it was a pleasure to have known him. I last saw Tom about a year ago when he visited the Springfield unit. He, Pete and I talked about old times which brought back many great memories. He will be missed by many. I wish you and your family well. God Bless.

Dear Carol, Tom was raised in the same neighborhood as our family and attended school with our children. He was especially close to all of us. I remember well the times he spent with us in Wisconsin at our cottage. Tom rented his first apartment from us and then you rented also as you began teaching at Moraine. Then you met, fell in love and were marriedl Both of you will always be a part of the Martin Family and I am blessed to have been a part of your lives. You and Tom are always in my heart and in my prayers. Love, Gerry Martin

Dear Carol,
I am so sorry about the loss of your husband, Tom. I had the pleasure of meeting Tom once when I ran into the two of you while shopping at Office Depot in Chicago Ridge. This was years ago prior to his illness. May fond memories glow in your heart of the good times you and Tom had together.
My thoughts and prayers are with you,

Dear Carol,
When I joined the Air National Guard I was just 18 years old. Tom was not only my supervisor but he was my friend. He took care of me on deployments and made certain that I was safe. He always rented cars and invited me on sight-seeing adventures and dinners to escape the base. I hope that he knew how much that meant to me....sadly I never told him. He was such a good man, a good soldier and a good friend. I am very sad.
I hope you find peace in your memories.
With sympathy,
Brenda Borkenhagen
