Thomas Ogden Obituary
Ogden, Thomas L. ("Dawg") of Hickory Hills, formerly of Chicago, unexpectedly passed on June 9, 2021. He was 65. Tom was the loving father of Laura (Jeremy) Ludwig, devoted son of June and the late Loren Ogden, dear and cherished brother of the late Tim Ogden, Ted (Ruth) Ogden, Cheryl (Patrick) Guide and Cathy (Jack) Hartigan. He was the favorite Uncle of the late Danielle Ogden, Chris (Kelsey) Ogden, Nick (Jaci) Guide, Joe (Paige Weissenhofer, fiancé) Guide, Matt (Abbie Morales) Hartigan, Dillon Ogden, and Great Uncle of Jaycee and Lauryn Guide. Tom was a firefighter with the Chicago Fire Department where he proudly served as Fire Engineer, Engine 65 until retiring in 2017.
A memorial to honor and celebrate the life of Tom will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021, from 2:00PM to 6:00PM at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Avenue, Justice, Illinois. For more information, 708-496-0200 or www.kaminskifamilyfuneralhomes.com

Looking for a reference to one of Thomas Ogden's books I came across his obituary. His early death strikes and saddens me.
I am very grateful to the deceased for his rich and clarifying contributions to psychoanalysis: they helped me a lot in my clinical work. I present my condolances to his family and friends.

Always had a great time working with Tom on the Chicago Fire Dept. He was devoted to his fellow firefighters and the citizens of Chicago and will be missed. Condolences to the family of this wonderful man.
