When I was very young, Tommy was getting ready to Deploy to Korea. Tommy was my hero. He was Tough, but Gentle. As a Vietnam Vet., along with other cousins, Archie, who I hadn´t seen since childhood, but we all know the Evils of War.
Tommy had many accomplishments he was an as an Amateur well as Professional Boxer. Quiet .. Shy .. and Tough.
Nick Named. Moose, wasn´t an accident. Larger than life, and he did things his way.
I left home at 15, returning on leave from USAF. In Vietnam I though if Tommy frequently, but as things sometimes have it, never crossed paths with him.
RIP "Moose"
