Kenealy S.J., Rev. Thomas L. age 84, August 26, 2006, beloved son of the late Thomas J. and Helen Massa Kenealy, dear brother of Helen Diemer and the late Ella Nieto. Visitation Wednesday, August 30th, from 3 to 7 p.m., at St. Ignatius Church, 6559 N. Glenwood Ave (at Loyola Ave.) Chicago, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 7:30 p.m. Interment service will be held on Thursday, August 31st, at 10 a.m. in the Interment Chapel at All Saints Cemetery, (Between Golf and Central Road) Des Plaines. Memorial gifts may be made to Jesuit International Missions or Jesuit Partnership, 2059 N. Sedgwick Street, Chicago, IL, 60614. I will miss Father Kenealy very much. Father was my spiritual director for eight years. He continualy encouraged me and guided me in my walk with the Lord.
Father taught me much about prayer and led me in the spiritual exercises of St. Ignatious. I apply all the wisdom He taught daily in my life. I thank God for the gift of Fr. Kenealy in my life.

Tom stayed with me for years after my departure from the Society of Jesus. His thoughts on the issues involved are the thoughts of a dear, generous friend and a loyal Jesuit. May he rest in peace.

Will miss my friend, Tom Kenealy. He and I served 5 years together at Westlake Community Hospital in Melrose Park.
He was a caring person and did a real ministry
at Westlake as our Catholic Chaplain.
